I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to taking herbs and supplements. I have tried a few and usually end up stopping because I have no way of knowing whether my money is well spent or not. With respect to different herbs I have tried, it was too tough for me to see results. On the other hand, St. John's Wort has been tested in clinical trials with results that typically suggest it helps with minor/moderate anxiety and depression. After reading a bit about these trials and deciding that I wanted to try Perika, I went out and bought a bottle from Whole Foods (more expensive than Amazon, but convenient if you have just run out). Plain and simple, Perika definitely worked for me. Prior to taking this, I was feeling a bit down and very anxious (particularly in social situations). I had been feeling that way for about a year. After starting to take this as directed on the box, I noticed an effect a week later. By the time I finished the bottle, I was feeling like my old self again and I can't tell you how happy that makes me. It's been about 6 weeks and I'm still doing great. The herb comes in pill form (instead of a capsule), which I find easy to swallow. You take one pill with food 3x per day. The only downside is that each bottle only contains 60 pills or a 20 day supply so I am starting to buy in bulk which is why I am reviewing the 2 pack. I also want to add that the first time I bought the two pack from amazon, they mistakenly only sent me one bottle even though I paid for two. I called and they not only allowed me to keep the bottle I had received, but also overnighted a new two pack at no extra charge(so I ended up getting 3 bottles). Thats great customer care!
