I was having physical therapy for my thumbs and surrounding area. The paraffin bath is one treatment used so I bought one. Not only does the heat help but the oils really help dry hands and feet. If you use the paraffin bath therapeutically then dip your hands 10 times to build up the paraffin, put the plastic sleeves over your hands and sit for 15 min with a heat pack over them also to keep them very warm. Awesome! Then just pull the bags off and the paraffin comes off too. P.S. The 6 bars of paraffin that come with the spa is not enough so go ahead and buy more when you order the spa and buy the hand & foot covers too.
