This is really a nice size for a cold pack. It is easy to refreeze, but you need to make sure the product is flat when you put it in the freezer. Otherwise it does freeze, but you may have a crack develop. I also recommend placing the pack in a freezer bag. I usually put a towel over it when placing it behind my neck.
