Desert Essence got it exactly right with this cleanser. It goes on creamy and is easy to massage into your skin. Best of all, unlike most other "dry skin" formula gentle cleansers I have used, both high and medium end, this cleanser rinses off completely and quickly. No milky residue or repeated rinses necessary. My skin felt scrubby clean during the rinse and then supple (but not at all lotiony) after I dried it off. Make-up came off without a problem, including eye make-up. As I have been looking for a formula for night face-washing that takes off the day's dirt and make-up on the oilier parts of my face without drying my eye and cheek area, this is the perfect find. Much better than recent cleansers I have bought from Algenist, Acure, and Philosophy (Purity). My only caveat: if you have reactions to citrus or apple, or just don't like these scents, you might find this cleanser a bit much while it's going on your face. Afterwards, you shouldn't smell anything.
