my dr. recommended this to me as a way to kind of boost my anti-depressants and i found that it actually worked BETTER than the antidepressant i was taking...i would not recommend for ANYONE to change their anti-depressant without the assistance of your physician, and i almost hate to even say this, but the effect was so profoundly helpful to me, i want people to at least know this is out there...i truly felt less depressed taking the full dose of good mood drops, 4 times each day, than i did when i was taking antidepressants...i have been taking antidepressants for 15 years too! and finally i feel ok without them!

i also take Sam-e in addition to the good mood drops and several other supplements to support my mood and overall health, so i truly want to discourage ANYONE from thinking they can just automatically switch....i would NEVER EVER do that...depression is just too serious...so please only do this with the assistance of your health care practitioner.

i hesitate to submit this product review, but the help i recieved from good mood tonic by herb pharm was simply so profound (and i know how much i wish to be free from pharmaceutical products) and i wish other people would share positive experiences with me, so i decided to go ahead and leave this review...but i feel so strongly about how serious depression is and how dangerous it is to tamper with an antidepresant that is working, i must emphasise caution... i also did have quite a considerable degree of difficulty during my transition...almost more than i could tolerate, it wasn't easy, so i would never recommend anyone try this without serious consideration and professional guidance.

if your depression is mild, or if you have a physician who you trust and with whom you have a good relationship, then this could be a real positive product for you. or if you just have an occasional bout with the blues, then by all mean...go for it...this is a great product!
