I have had several heart attacks. Medical care is always the first option because if the ticker stops, you stop! But as a result of these, my heart had been weakened considerably. Taking this helps with those "heart spells", enough to keep you running on an even keel without doing anything strenuous. Which is better than lying in bed or having to take off from work. For those of you without heart problems, just be thankful. For those that do have them and haven't tried this...it really does help. Of course always ok it w/your doctor first if you take Rx.
