The regular 600mg tablets work okay, but they don't last 12 hours. I'm lucky if they last 8 hours.
The Maximum Strength tablets DO work for 12 hours. For me, that means I only need two 1200mg tablets in 24 hours, instead of six or more of the 600mg tablets.

(I take Mucinex everyday day for chronic dry mouth and dry eye.)
