i just priced the line-up of reformer boxes direct from Stott. i know shipping costs from Toronto might be much higher -- they are for me -- but they offer the standard box for $235 (US) and the extra tall box or extra long box are $265 (US). So much for competition as there is no shortage of boxes.

This is an excellent box for Pilates -- on the mat, chair, reformer, or cadillac. It has a quality construction. It is sturdy, designed to last in a professional setting. The foam is the perfect density and the covering is also perfect for keeping it clean -- just a little tea tree oil in a water spritz & wipe.I used Stott boxes and other brands for more than four years. Other brands show wear on the corners where the covering has dried and cracked. Other brands don't feel the same when you're on them with a slight shifting as there is a soft layer instead of the superior kinesthetic feedback Stott incorporates.
