`Fly-Lite Transport Chair Blue, 19" Review

I absolutely love this chair. I purchased this chair for my mother who is 85 years old and cannot stand for long periods of time. If we go anywhere where there's a lot of walking involved, like an amusement park, the zoo, Christmas shopping at the mall, etc. this is a godsend!!!!!!! First of all, it's extremely lightweight and that speaks volumes for this product. I'm not physically capable to lift a full size wheelchair in and out of a trunk of a car. This is a breeze to get in and out of the trunk. It's very compact and folds up nicely, so that if you've done grocery shopping and have packages to put in the trunk it's not taking up an enormous amount of room in the trunk. I like that too. Unfortunately, it does have a 200 pound weight limit which doesn't affect me because my mother only weighs 126 pounds. It's so easy to push, and the blue plaid material it's made from makes it very stylish. I cannot tell you how many compliments we've received on it. No one (including my mother) likes to give up their independence (not being able to walk on their own) and resort to using a wheelchair. However, the weight and the style of this chair will change your feelings towards being in a wheelchair. Now, my mother will ask if we can throw her transport chair in the trunk. She actually likes it. My husband and I also have peace of mind knowing that she's not going to trip on an uneven sidewalk or just lose her balance (cause she's not steady on her feet) and fall...because she's sitting in her transport chair. I highly recommend this product. WE LOVE IT!!!
