If you have freakishly large calves like me, then you may need to try something else. I've only run with them for two weeks now and hoped they'd "break-in", but circulation to my calves is still being cut too much. The pressure is very tight and calf muscles feel like they're starving for oxygen after just a few minutes (not normal for me), all of which is relieved by removing the brace. Because they're so effective from the knee-up, I'm planning to cut the bottom band to give my calves some slack. The fabric might need some mending after this, but should do the trick...

4/13/2012 UPDATE: Instad of cutting some slack into the calve elastic, I just stretched them around a partially-used roll of duct tape and let them sit for ~ 36 hours each. Now they fit just fine and PFS doesn't limit my runs! I highly recommend this product.

Muhle Sophist Resin Black Shaving Set Review

I purchased this set two years ago direct from the manufacturer, before it became available on Amazon. I have used it regularly since, am very pleased and, having just found it here with no reviews, felt it necessary to share..

This is a very attractive set. It is very well constructed; the materials are top quality. A quick wipe and a shake and it looks brand new. The resin is attractive and durable.

Full disclosure, this is the only badger brush I've purchased - so I can't make a comparative analysis for you. But I would guess that possible issues with a brush could be hairs falling out or losing its shape/softness. After two years I can say definitely these have not been a problem. Not a single time have I shaken out the brush and noticed a hair came free.

As a last note, I use the matching mug and prefer their Sea Buckthorn soap. Primarily because - what is Sea Buckthorn? don't care, smells good.

My good friend has used Herb Pharm Mullein-Garlic Compound with her two year old to help combat ear infections, and it has helped. Warm it up in warm water first, or under an armpit, and then administer. Just a drop, maybe two. It'll fight bacteria. Also important is to use probiotics (children's probiotics) and also I highly recommend the elimination of dairy. Dairy causes mucous, and mucous buildup is the number one reason for ear infections. Do these three things, and the need for antibiotics will dramatically drop.
