This chair is probably has more features than any others I've researched (and that's a lot.

It's as fast as you would want a chair to be (about 6-7 mph) initially, but slows to about 5-6 mph after about a minute at full speed (still pretty fast for a chair).

It has an onboard battery charger and a cord so you can plug it in to a wall socket wherever you go and not have to lug around a separate charging unit.

I don't know how long it can be driven before recharging is necessary, because my longest runs have been only about 2 miles. Surprisingly, it still showed a full charge afterward.

The arms are fully adjustable for height and distance apart, and also tilt up to full vertical when necessary. The seat and seat back are also fully adjustable for height and tilt with with the ability to rotate the seat at the dinner table if there is no room for the foot rest.

I would much prefer drive wheels in the 16" range with vertically articulating casters rather than the 10" wheels with fixed casters. Going up ramps can cause the drive wheels to lose their traction when the front casters leave the horizontal plane. A bit of a running start solves that problem, though.

The spring loaded foot rest may be a bit awkward for anyone who can't bend down to lower it and raise their legs up to it. I like it that way (at least for now while I'm still fairly flexible.

Overall, it is a well made, sturdy machine that would be perfect for almost everyone.

Believe you me you are not going to find a better price for this chair! I shopped around all others were charging anywhere from $1600.00-$2000.00. This wheelchair is very heavy duty, well made. It is wider than I needed but that was my choice. The armrests are removeable which is great. I have to remove the armrests to wheel myself only because I wanted a bigger chair than I needed but I carry my armrests with me so I can remove them when I want. My only complaint is this (seller) not Amazon shows this product coming with the footrests, but it did not. Amazon ordered the footrests for me and paid for them to correct sellers issue. You have to use your own judgment when buying this wheelchair. The wheelchair itself I love it. Props to Amazon!!!!!!

These footplates are very well made. My advice to buyers is under product description if you have a heavy duty wheelchair like mine make sure it says HDSF! HDSF is for the heavy duty wheelchairs. PHSF is for the regular wheelchairs. Amazon sent me the PHSF the first time. Amazon corrected the issue with no cost to me, Amazon deserves a big thumbs up for me. I love Amazon shop nowhere else.But getting back to the footplates would highly recommend, they r big too which is a big plus, love the swingaway feature.
