I purchased this for my father because he suffers from acid reflux. My dad has been using it for 6 months with much success. He had severe reflux and indigestion. He was on two Nexium tablets a day. He changed his diet and takes two of these before each meal and has been gradually able to reduce his Nexium to only on an "as needed" basis" of a couple pills weekly. He said that as he ages, digestion slows down and his body didn't digest proteins well. He said that proteins sat in his gut and stayed there! The Acid-Ease eliminates that problem for him. This isn't a product that you would take like Tums or Rolaids for instant relief. This is different.

I did buy him the Mega-zyme because I didn't know if there was a difference. He said that the Mega-zyme didn't work as well. I checked with my local health food store and they explained that it was more useful for occasional stomach upset or gas after you eat a not-so-balanced meal.
