I'm not really into herbal remedies and mainly got this by request of my mom. However, I decided to take the plunge and try some of the natural neem treatments on the web with this product. Let me tell you upfront, this is certainly not a "snake oil scam". Now don't get me wrong, this is not a solution to every malady you have or a fountain of youth, but you will definitely notice some improvements in your general health. Here are some of the things I tested with it...

There are certain foods that disagree with me and I have a bit of intolerance of fiber. When I put a few drops of the extract in a cup of water or tea, my stomach immediately feels at ease after drinking it. I also kind of felt a nice energy buzz which surprised me at first. Eventually the effect wears off, but when I faithfully have a bit of neem, I feel like I had a good dose of nutrients and feel much less fatigued.

I have also found this extract to be a nice zit remover. Thankfully I don't really have crater acne but at least once or twice a month there's bound to be a couple annoying pimples that pop out. I never liked zit creams as they make my face feel like its suffered a sunburn and I dislike cakey coverup as I feel it clogs up my pores. When I do rub a bit of neem over the stubborn zits, the redness around them instantly goes away and after a day or so they pretty much disappear. Some months where I've been more committed and applied the neem to my face regularly, I go completely and utterly pimple-free.

The last thing I did with this extract was test it as a pest repellent. I've heard that neem is good for getting rid of bugs, especially persistent crickets. We have quite a bad cricket problem in the summer time and the annoying little singers come by the barrel full. We tossed some around outside our house to see if it had any effect. It was not until three days later that we noticed the little critters coming back. I was hoping this extract would be a more potent solution but I was already surprised that it could ward them off as long as it did. Still though, I'm sure there are more inexpensive natural solutions than neem that may perform better.

So in conclusion, I'm really happy with this organic remedy. This extract may not be a miracle worker but it certainly is a hard worker. A little truly goes a long way.
