I bought it in bulk to save some money. The only thing I don't care for is the packaging - the bottles are solid white. I like to mix up half a dose and just color my roots. It requires some creativity to measure out half the amount from a solid-colored bottle. It helps to have another clear bottle with ounces marked. The mixed product won't store. Since I don't pull it through, I find that there is a differentiation in my color from about 2-3" down, where the color has begun to fade. It is much less harsh on my hair than other 'natural' products, and I am more than 50% gray.
