This unit was HUGE in helping me recover from shoulder surgery. It helped immensely with pain relief and was much better than using ice packs. My husband will soon be having knee replacement surgery and it is great to know that we will just need to get the knee WrapOn for him, and we will be able to get more use out of the unit. Injure a different joint? No problem, just get the WrapOn for that joint and you're good to go.

What some of the other reviewers seem to be missing regarding the price of the Polar Care is that this particular listing is for 6 (SIX) as the description says 6/Case. $1,100 is for 6 Polar Care 500 systems, NOT JUST ONE! Obviously, this is targeted more for a clinic and not for individual home therapy purchase. If you want just one, find a different listing. The Polar Care system is still excellent for recovery from surgery or joint injury.
