I am truly disappointed in the Shoprider. It was fitted to me poorly and parts started falling off immediately. It squeaks and the seat wobbles. I asked for repairs and after three visits I was told not to ask for anymore help. The last repairman tried to fix the squeaks and wobble with some sort of glue, and now I do not have the function of raising or lowering the seat height,and it still squeaks and wobbles. In my opinion, this chair is a toy or a stage prop, and not fit for use by a disabled person. I would not advise anyone to spend money or apply to Medicare to pay for this chair. I can see by the ads in various places that the price has been lowered from over $6000.to under $2000, and I can certainly see why. It is a piece of junk.
