LumaPro 2NAX1 Industrial Fluorescent Fixture, F96T8 Review

4 of these were purchased for as an economical 8' T8 light fixture to light up the inventory aisles for the warehouse. Whats great with this setup is that it comes prewired and with a ballast, decreasing the installation time. The light fixture includes metal reflectors powdercoated glossy white, which was perfect to light up my 8ft aisles. Few kinks I had to deal with during installation.

- The metal frame is constructed using very thin gauge steel making it very easy to bend. In fact the reflectors/housing can be dented very easily if you do not handle it properly.

- The chain/S-hook that came with the bulb is a welcome addition to the kit; however if you hang the fixture using the recommended (punched) location on the frame, the light is always going to be crooked. To fix the problem, you'll need to hang it from 4 corners, but the drawback is that there isn't enough chain/s-hook. This is much better but required an extra trip to the hardware store. Had this come with "V" hooks then I probably dont have to go to HD.

- The quick clips that mounts the reflectors didn't match the size of the pre-punched holes. I used pliers and pinched the clip to size, but the drawback is that the quick clip now needs to be twisted with pliers. Again its no big deal and took a few seconds to fix, but its certainly an annoyance.

If I had a choice I'd do it all over again because it is truly a cost effective unit. But I wish the manufacturer can pay attention to these small details to make install a bit smoother... which translates to lower installation labor cost if you hire an electrician to do it.

Amazon also sells glide caps for the rear legs--which understandably wear-down over time, especially when used on concrete. This is definitely a well-engineered product!
